The McMurdo FastFind 220 PLB is a rugged, handheld, and waterproof (non-buoyant) GPS & Galileo enabled rescue PLB which is small enough to be easily carried in a back-pack or pocket. Ocean Signal's rescueME EPIRB1 is a GPS enabled rescue beacon which automatically activates when immersed in water or manually by releasing it from a bracket and pressing the 'ON' button to send your location to emergency services wherever you are in the world.

The Odeo Distress marine flare is an alternative to traditional pyrotechnic boat flares offering a safer and more effective distress signal.
Using LED technology illuminates for around 8 hours at full illumination. As the device uses standard battery power it is totally safe when switched off and also fine to carry on-board aircraft.

The Odeo MK3 LED marine flare is an alternative to traditional boat flares. The marine flare is visible up to at least 3 nautical miles away and will display at a consistent brightness for up to 6 hours. This is a great alternative to traditional flares which will only burn for around 30 seconds.

McMurdo’s SmartFind G8 AIS EPIRB is the world's first Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon to feature AIS. This device is a Category 2 EPIRB that will alert authorities that a rescue is required, once it has been manually deployed or activated in contact with water.
In an emergency, the SmartFind G8 EPIRB draws from multiple satellite constellations, to relay a coded message on the 406 MHz distress frequency, monitored by the Cospas-Sarsat satellite system. This alert is sent to the nearest Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) and provides a pinpoint accurate location for all authorities at sea.
